Pet Peeve #4456

ARRRGGGHHH!!
Blogger now has a new word verification that requires you to type two words, or numbers and words. After being forced to do this on several blogs today, I removed it from my blog so YOU don't have to go through that when you comment. I hate to punish my peeps who bless me every day with kind words and thoughts.

I JUST noticed this, too, Jeanette! Yuck! I got rid of word verification a few years ago. What works for me: turn comment moderation on and set it for 2 or 3 days. This allows me to review any comments not posted on my current post and eliminates spam. :)

Yes, it is a bit of a nuisance, isn't it? I got rid of that a while back after I read that the new blogger spam "catcher" was supposed to get all the junky stuff. So far so good. :)

I hope you don't end up getting a lot of comment robo-spam once you get rid of your verification thingie.

I saw that too. Is it on every blog? I'll have to check it out on mine.

Have a great weekend!

Man I was wondering why I was having to do double words all of a sudden! Thanks for removing yours. I got rid of mine a few months ago and everything's been fine.

It scared me this morning too Jeanette, had to go through several of them and miss spelled even more... aaghhh. I pray you will NOT get spam comments.

Hmm. Now I have to go check my own blog and see how I've got this set. I've been getting some ridiculous spam lately, which I detest. What to do??

Your graphic kitty cat expresses that new blogger bit perfectly.

Funny thing, I went to look for my word verification in the settings and it's not listed there.... so I'm not sure how else to turn it off.

Now that's an arggg too!

I need to chuck the word verification one of these days. It's on my to-do list.

I can never figure out the words half the time!

I noticed that when I posted on another friend's blog. But I've been under the weather and not been online. I think I'll check my settings. Thanks for the word.
