Whether we like to admit it or not, we all wrestle with insecurity in one form or another. Mine center around people. "What will they think of me if I. . .?"; "Did I look/sound stupid when I did that?"; "I wonder why Boo-Boo is quiet today--perhaps I made her mad."
My friend Jan Cline's debut book, A Heart out of Hiding, addresses the insecurites we all face, and tells us how to overcome them. Here's my review on Amazon:
"Jan Cline is one courageous lady. In A Heart Out of Hiding, she openly shares personal stories of her fight to find stability and peace in the face of childhood insecurities. Using these stories and Scripture, Jan gives readers a practical plan to trade their hiding places for freedom and grace.
