Why You Shouldn't Give up On Your Dream and an Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

Terri Tiffany
My friend Terri Tiffany is a sparkling example of why you should never give up on your dreams. She recently published her debut novel, The Mulligan, after several fruitless attempts, moves across the county, and months of anguish when her husband was out of work.

Yet she never gave up on her dream of becoming a published author. I'm so glad she didn't, because the finished product is excellent. Here is my review of The Mulligan:

The Mulligan
"In The Mulligan, debut author Terri Tiffany weaves a riveting modern-day coming of age story brimming with colorful, humorous descriptions and believable characters. The premise of The Mulligan reflects an issue most of us struggle with: wanting to fix people and situations by giving up our own identity.

"When twenty-year-old Bobbi Snow sacrifices her passion for painting to become a golf pro, she discovers that her broken family is not her responsibility to mend. She also meets some quirky, lovable characters who teach her how much God cares about her, and that following her own dreams is a way to love Him back.

"As an historical novel buff, I surprised myself when I fell in love with this contemporary novel that held my interest, made me laugh, and helped me take a much-needed look into the mirror of my soul. Thank you for all of the above, Ms. Tiffany. I look forward to your next book!"

I hope you'll support Terri by purchasing The Mulligan and by following her example of perseverance in the midst of adversity. I know you have a dream the Lord has placed in your heart. Perhaps several dreams.

Today, Terri is offering one commenter on this post a $20 Amazon Gift Card. All you have to do is tell us what the dream is that you're shooting for, and leave your email address. The contest is open till Saturday, March 28th at midnight. I will choose a winner on Sunday and post his or her name on Tuesday, March 31st.

  13. My dream is to empower people to take charge of their health through education and demonstration, and to earn a living while doing it so that I can quit my day job! Health is so important and many people don't realize that God has blessed us with the tools to be in optimal health, if we choose to educate ourselves.
