She was a character! Her faith was also very strong, and she taught me a lot about God when I was very young.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081925465275931199.post-72429127588109012612010-06-01T11:05:26.205-05:002010-06-01T11:05:26.205-05:00You go right on out on that limb, Nancy. ...I loved your story. It truly touched my heart.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say President Ronald Reagan. I have loved him for a very long time, ever since I heard him give "The Speech." If you are old enough, you may remember which one I mean. If not, it doesn't matter. I love all of our presidents in one way or the other, if for nothing more than taking on such a huge responsibility. And President Reagan was my favorite, (after Abraham Lincoln,of course.)Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15163662759281341381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081925465275931199.post-83052340777434861972010-06-01T05:44:02.123-05:002010-06-01T05:44:02.123-05:00Oh I love this. One of my grandfather's preached up into his 80's at a little church in a small town in west Texas. To serve God so faithfully is such a blessing to have watched. Thanks for letting me share.Sherrinda Ketchersidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07581676437345249386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081925465275931199.post-91021470788276009732010-06-01T01:30:03.436-05:002010-06-01T01:30:03.436-05:00Our time for remembering both veterans and those w...Our time for remembering both veterans and those who have died is our "Remembrance Day", November 11th. I did a post then about three family members who had served in the Canadian military, each in different ways -- my father-in-law, my own father, and my uncle. My father and uncle both served within Canada, but my FIL fought at Vimy Ridge. He never talked of it, but he went on to become an ordained pastor with two sons who both went into ministry, too. His faith set a strong example for everyone who knew him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081925465275931199.post-42336763554285831622010-05-31T18:17:04.110-05:002010-05-31T18:17:04.110-05:00Hi Jen -

She asked me for forgiveness.
She was important to her grandchildren. They were important to her. When there was a problem in her family, her health suffered(diabetes) but she helped those grands as best she and her husband could.quietspirithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06086016141181470311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081925465275931199.post-19990054442266974432010-05-31T08:06:56.671-05:002010-05-31T08:06:56.671-05:00I would choose my Mom.
