More Grace, Guts, and Giggles

Do you set goals, or simply take life as it comes, then deal with whatever happens?

I need a plan or I become discombobulated, disorganized, and distracted. So I’ve decided to set some goals for this blog.

      In 2012, I hope to:

  • Be more transparent with you;
  • Encourage you more;
  • Make you laugh more;
  • Give you more prizes!
I know, I know, I used the words MORE and YOU four times in the above list. That’s because I write this blog for YOU, and I want to give you MORE of Jesus’ grace, more of my guts, and a whole lot more giggles in the coming year.

Are you up for that? If so, stay tuned for a great year of Mirth and Worth...

  1. Attractive blog page. Hope you'll accomplish your goals.

  2. I think we all would do well adopting your goals.

    I can go either way. Right now, things in life are unclear (out of my control) so I hold off on the specific goals and objectives and just plow forward.

  3. Yeah, I'm so all about laughter! And you're good at that. :D

  4. Your sweet posts and friendship are gifts enough! Wishing you joy upon joy this year as you anticipate the release of your book!!!

  5. I do have goals, but I also live life as it comes.

    This year I want to experience more JOY in my life. Those joyful moment's seem to come far and few in between.

    I want to do more of the things that I love to do...I'm not going to hold the joy back, I'm going to let it flow.

    I love your list. I hope to share much laughter with you too! It's so good for the soul.

    Great post.

  6. Oh I can see it's goona be a great year over here!

    I don't do resolutions so to speak. I do try to live each day the best I can, the way God would want me to. I do have goals all year through.

    I see ya just commented about the time I threw another post up. Not literally...I'm fine! Heeehehehe!

    Today is our 39th weddin' anniversary.

    God bless ya sweet friend and have yourself a marvelous weekend!!! :o)

  7. I'm one of those weirdies who prefers the term "resolution." Maybe because I am a terrible failure at sports, and the word "goal" reminds me of jr. high phys. ed. : ) Wow, I never made that connection until now!

    So glad someone else uses the word discombobulated.

  8. I have goals, but they aren't very specific right now.

    Your list sounds fun. I'll be tuned right here for more, more, more.

  9. Bring it on, Jeanette!! Looking forward to another year of your spunky, red-headed humor and insights, girl.

    I'm excited to see where God will take your writing with that delightful book coming out. Keep the ice cream handy, friend, 'cause there's a celebration ahead!

  10. Jeanette:
    You are so sweet. Always thinking of us. I echo Rhonda's initial thought. BRING IT ON!

  11. I'm up for it. Look forward to sharing mirth and worth! Adding my prayers for a great year.

  12. Hi Jen -

    Love your goals for 2012! How about bringing some of your signature humor over to my blog?

    I'm probably a combination. My to-do lists keep me sane, but they're flexible.

    Susan :)

  13. Sounds wonderful. I am happy to take more of what you are serving!

  14. I'm a list-maker, so I spend a considerable portion of my day looking and adding to my day planner. It keeps me focused and on schedule. Having a plan works for me and keeps me sane! :-)

    I look forward to reading more of your posts this year, and thank you for your "us-centered" goals. I always feel appreciated when I visit your blog!

    Blessings to you and yours.

Oh, it's YOU! I'm so happy to see you here today, and look forward to reading your comments.
