More Grace, Guts, and Giggles

Do you set goals, or simply take life as it comes, then deal with whatever happens?

I need a plan or I become discombobulated, disorganized, and distracted. So I’ve decided to set some goals for this blog.

      In 2012, I hope to:

  • Be more transparent with you;
  • Encourage you more;
  • Make you laugh more;
  • Give you more prizes!

I know, I know, I used the words MORE and YOU four times in the above list. That’s because I write this blog for YOU, and I want to give you MORE of Jesus’ grace, more of my guts, and a whole lot more giggles in the coming year.

Are you up for that? If so, stay tuned for a great year of Mirth and Worth...

  2. I think we all would do well adopting your goals.

    I can go either way. Right now, things in life are unclear (out of my control) so I hold off on the specific goals and objectives and just plow forward.

  5. I do have goals, but I also live life as it comes.

    This year I want to experience more JOY in my life. Those joyful moment's seem to come far and few in between.

    I want to do more of the things that I love to do...I'm not going to hold the joy back, I'm going to let it flow.

    I love your list. I hope to share much laughter with you too! It's so good for the soul.

    Great post.

  6. Oh I can see it's goona be a great year over here!

    I don't do resolutions so to speak. I do try to live each day the best I can, the way God would want me to. I do have goals all year through.

    I see ya just commented about the time I threw another post up. Not literally...I'm fine! Heeehehehe!

    Today is our 39th weddin' anniversary.

    God bless ya sweet friend and have yourself a marvelous weekend!!! :o)

  7. I'm one of those weirdies who prefers the term "resolution." Maybe because I am a terrible failure at sports, and the word "goal" reminds me of jr. high phys. ed. : ) Wow, I never made that connection until now!

    So glad someone else uses the word discombobulated.

    Blessings!

  12. Hi Jen -

    Love your goals for 2012! How about bringing some of your signature humor over to my blog?

    I'm probably a combination. My to-do lists keep me sane, but they're flexible.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)

  14. I'm a list-maker, so I spend a considerable portion of my day looking and adding to my day planner. It keeps me focused and on schedule. Having a plan works for me and keeps me sane! :-)

    I look forward to reading more of your posts this year, and thank you for your "us-centered" goals. I always feel appreciated when I visit your blog!

    Blessings to you and yours.
