Please tell me you have bad hair days. Then I won't feel so alone.
I use the most unnatural products to give my hair its natural look. Just because it's naturally curly doesn't mean the curls go in the right direction! And it doesn't help that my admin. assistant is a twenty-year old who looks like a commercial for an expensive salon.
I guess I'm lazy. Straight and long is easy to style. HOWEVER, I do color my hair and sometimes it looks really dry, frizzy, and damaged. Alas...we can't all have model perfect hair.
I have lots of bad hair days. I got my long hair cut because it looked messy every day but Sun. Now it looks "good" most of the time, but still gives me a hard time on occasion. (Plus, I really wish I could have "good" long hair.)
One of the reasons I grew my hair long was because I wanted long hair of course and the other so I could put it in a pony tail on bad hair days. It is in a pony tail right now...insert moan here. I love my hair and wouldn't trade a strand of it. However I will be putting on the rubber gloves later tonight so I can transform it into it's lovely old self. :)
I'm not sure, but I think that my hair is the president of the bad hair day club. I hear ya. And sympathize. When a fabulous solution comes to me, I'll pass it along! Blessings and happy weekend, Karen
Yes! Just like that cat! If I don't take a straightening iron to my hair it has to go up in a pony tail!!! I wish I could roll out of bed and be descent for the world. Gone are those days. *sigh*
Jen: My hair has a mind of it's own. Do you remember the Connie Francis song, My heart has a mind if it's own? I don't have the energy or coordination to fight it.
At one time I went to church with 3 to 5 hair dressers. Isn't that a hoot?
My hair accessories are glad I have bad hair days. If I didn't, I'd never use my ponytail holders, my headbands or my barettes. As it is, I'm wearing a ponytail right now... :D
I used to like my hair but in recent years it seems bad hair days outnumber the good ones. In fact the good ones are so rare I mark them on the calendar with bright pink highlighter! Just kidding, of course, but I wish one's self esteem on any given day didn't depend so much on a good hairdo.
LOL All the time--today especially but it is Friday so I don't care!

ReplyDeleteNo, my hair is pretty much perfect.
ReplyDeleteHA! Each follicle is laughing right now. My hair has seen plenty of bad hair days! You're not alone, Jeanette!

ReplyDeleteOh yeah - bad hair - having it today. Blahk.
ReplyDeleteSend me the hats! When I take the time to have good hair days, my kids ask "Who's coming over today, Mom?" or "Where are we going?"

Hi Jen -
ReplyDeleteMy hair rarely looks the way it should. If I were rich, I'd have a stylist on staff.
Blessings,
Susan :)
I highlighted my hair, to either-look younger, bwaaahaaa, or to color my gray. sigh....

ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for my morning laugh.
I have bad hair days EVERY DAY.
ReplyDeleteThere has never been a more stringy, flat mass of follicles.
And the color? Haven't known for 35 years.
