I've been sitting on a secret for a few weeks now, aching to share with you,
waiting for the okay from my agent, the incomparable Diana Flegal of Hartline Literary.
Can you tell what this is?
And what I'm doing here?
That's right, I was offered a publishing contract for my humor/inspirational book, Mirth and Worth in the Real Lane. The publisher is Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas, which specializes in eBooks and Print on Demand.
My baby will emerge from the womb in about six months--I'm hoping on my late brother's birthday, April 6.
Woo-hoo, Hallelujah, and pass the chocolate raspberry truffle almond delght ice cream! I've had my Snoopy suit on since I got the news--now I can finally dance!!!
Come back Thursday to hear how I got from writing a column in our hometown newspaper to publishing a book, and how YOU helped make it happen.
Are you ever tempted to give up on your dreams and goals? Do you believe the sayin that "It's always darkest before the dawn"?
Dancing with you . . . at this GREAT NEWS.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Glenda
