  1. Jeanette, thanks for sharing these beautiful photos--they represent everything I LOVE about springtime!

  2. All of the above? My family has always had a "contest" to see who saw the first of things: butterfly, robin, snow drop, etc. It's been fun. I do so love when the birds seat singing again and when the forsythias bloom. And lilacs are the best smell ever.

  4. Jen, I love the feel in the air; gives me a euphoric feeling. Ah, love it! (plus all your listed stuff!) :)

  5. ALL of it! (Except the mess that comes as trees begin to bud and the casings fall all over....)

Here in Amish country where I live, it is a joy to see the colts...standing on wobbly legs, nestling against their mothers' sides. It takes my breath away everytime I see them!

  6. I love the flowers. I love waking up with my windows open and hearing the birds sing.

  7. I am with you Jeanette. As a family, we love the warmer temps that allow for hiking and playground visits--something we wait all winter for.

  8. Jeanette:
I like all the above. I especially like seeing the budding trees. When we are out we see the yards greened up and the trees budded out and some already having leaves on them.

  9. Ah, I am enamored with the idea of spring. However, springtime in Colorado is elusive, and notoriously fickle. The first robins and tulips are frequently seen shivering under a blanket of snow in May. *sigh*
For now I have to enjoy spring vicariously!

  11. The emerging greens and all the bright colours of new spring blooms after the drabness of winter. It's a wonderful time of renewal in so many ways.

    Happy springtime, Jen!

  13. I love spring because that's when the Inland NW Christian Writers Conference takes place--and that's where I met you last weekend. What a joy it was to serve on the faculty with you and see budding writers encouraged and equipped to fulfill their publishing dreams. As for the weather, snow was mixed with rain at my house yesterday, so we're still waiting for it to warm up in the Pacific Northwest. Your gorgeous photos remind me that eventually spring will arrive here.

  14. Jen, I'm back to say I’ve tagged you in a Lucky 7 meme originally introduced to me by Laura Best. I don't usually participate in such things, but this one’s fun. It's an opportunity to introduce everyone to a few lines of your current work in progress. I’m hoping you’ll play along. Come on over and check it out at my blog: http://bit.ly/GKxSWs

  16. All the above plus I get to porch swing again and rock in my outdoor rocking chairs! And mowing, I LOVE to mow and dig in the dirt in the gardens, hearing the birds singing, watching the bunnies romp in my back yard. OH, so many things to love about Spring!
