My Quiet Friend

Congratulations to my Quiet Friend, Cecelia Lester,  who won Katie Ganshert's Wildflowers from Winter novel. Congratulations, Cecelia!

Because I am a communicator--I refuse to say I'm loquacious--I lean towards quiet people. And I hope that I meet a need in their life as well. If I talk, I fill the sometimes uncomfortable silence.

Do you have a Quiet Friend? Or, are you the Quiet One?

Thank you for the book. I not only seem quiet, I fill the role of a straight 'man' to some of my friends (ala, Dean Martin, George Burns, Bud Abbott.) But then, I have my moments "in the sun."

Last night, we had drama ministry practice, I managed to sneak some ad-libs (read zingers) into the practice. Sometimes, the world needs to watch out for the quiet ones.

  3. I am a communicator as well... Learning to be a better listener, and a gentler speaker at times

  4. Hi Jen -

    Congrats to Cecelia!

It depends on the company. If I don't know someone well, I tend to be on the quiet side.

    Blessings,
    Susan :)
