Love that watermelon! |
- Slurping watermeleon on a hot summer day with no worries about food poisoning;
- Riding your bike or walking downtown with no fear of getting mugged;
- Going for a Sunday drive without seatbelts--and surviving!
My dream house! |
- Medicaide,
- Medicare,
- Social Security,
- Pull out Your Hair!
- Forms to fill out,
- Income to declare, or
- Moving estimates there.
A Heavenly Home |
Just glorious, lovely, musical SIMPLICITY. Ahhhhhh...
Do you miss simpler times? What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
P.S. I will be offline for two weeks, traveling to speak at the Montrose Christian Writers Conference. If you think of it, please pray for me. Thanks!
Ahhh, watermelon, home made ice cream, tubing in the river...what great childhood summertime memories.
ReplyDeleteI hope things continue to fall into place for your mom, and I'll remember to pray for you as you speak!
Blessings to you as you travel and speak at the conference.
ReplyDeleteI too wish things were simpler.
Childhood memory:
ReplyDeletePlaying Hide and Go Seek outside until the street light in the alley came on. ( It was so dark,we could barely see.)
Simpler Times: I would like to have them because I get bogged down thinking about all the hoops people have to jump through to get what they need.
Praying for you as you travel and speak.
I miss simpler times too. Will be praying for you my friend.
ReplyDeleteGod watch over you and bless you are you travel and minister at the conference. Don't even think about your blog or the other many moderns things that complicate your life. I miss the stores being closed on Sundays--and everyone had a family day and worshiped and rested on the Sabbath.
ReplyDeleteI like simple, too.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Glenda
Wanted to say again how sweet it was to meet you in real life and I'm so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I had fully intended to on Thursday but had to leave the conference early. Hope we meet again here on earth but if not then for sure in heaven!!
