I have lived in central Indiana in a city all my life. Hubby grew up in southern Indiana in a rural farming area until he came up here when he was almost 17. The saying is true,"You can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy." In over 40 years of marriage, I have gotten used to the rural culture. When I was pregnant and Hubby was laid off from his work, I told him I was willing, if need by, to go down there and live--even on a farm.
