Two Years to Live--What Would You Do?

#Timepressure #Prioritites #Twoyearstolive

My friend Cammie had some great advice when I whined to her about time pressure and discombobulated priorities. She asked, “If you knew you had only two years to live, how would you be spending your time?” My answer was immediate: “I would not be cleaning house!”

What I would do, however, if I knew I only had two years left is:

  • Spend more time with my family
  • Tell everyone I met about my Jesus, and
  • Publish as many heart-warming articles, stories, and books a possible.
This little exercise helped me see where my heart lodged, and what means the most to me.

Now it's your turn. If you knew you had only two years to live, what would you do with those 104 weeks, 730 days, 15,330 hours?

Discombobulated Priorities

When I whined to my friend Cammie about time pressure and discombobulated priorities, her wise question poked me in the heart. “If you knew you had only two years to live, how would you be spending your time?” My answer was immediate: “I would not be cleaning house!”

But what would I do if I knew I only had two years left? Spend more time with my family, take that long-dreamed-of cruise, pray often for pre-Christain loved ones, and talk my husband into taking square dance lessons. This little exercise sure helped me see where my heart lodged, and what means the most to me.

Now it's your turn.

If you knew you only had two years to live, what would you do with those
104 weeks, 730 days, 15,330 hours?
