What Does it Take to Be a Winner?

In your opinion, what does it take to be a winner. . .

In a friendship?

As a spouse?

In your career?

As a parent?

In life?

I'd love your input on this one! I'm always striving to discover others' secrets to success, so I can emulate them. Please leave your comments below.

And speaking of winning, the winner of my basket of office products from the I Love My Blog Buddies Drawing is Terri Moore from Terri Moore's Art. Congratulations, Terri! I hope you enjoy all the goodies I picked out for you.

Have a great weekend, everyone! Thanks for your comments on being a winner!

  1. Congratulations to Terri. I'm sure you will enjoy the office supplies and the chocolate.

Two of these areas(friendship and spouse) that you ask about all have the same necessary ingredients--
    transparency,compassion,

The career on is a bit trickier: for us of a certain age the ingredients could be-- an awareness of what you are able to do; an ability to carry out orders.

A successful parent is a consistent one.

On who is successful in life is one who believes in the One who made him or her

  3. Congrats to Terri! :) It was a great giveaway, Jen!

In my opinion, being a winner means many things, but perhaps the biggest personal one would be knowing who you are in Christ.

    Happy weekend!

    1. Thanks, Karen. YOU were one of the few people who followed instructions!

I so agree with you about knowing who we are in Christ. That makes us secure to fight the enemy and win.

  4. Way to go, Terri!

In all these areas, being there on a consistent basis makes a winner. And, Jen, you qualify on all counts. :)

    Hugs,
    Susan
