I do enjoy editing, for the most part. It's like cleaning in that there's a concrete result where I can measure my work and see what I've done. :-)
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy editing and when I get critted chapter back I am amazed to see what one pair of eyes missed but another found. I think for each edit or mistake we learn. If not, why bother trying in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI too love having someone edit my work:)) We rarely see our own mistakes as well.
ReplyDeleteJessica: I'm laughing at different perspectives here--I see cleaning as an unrewarding effort, since nothing ever STAYS clean, whereas in writing, you at least have a finished product sometime!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen -
ReplyDeleteThanks for a fun contest. Congrats to Caroline!
I'd rather edit other people's work than my own. Perhaps I need more craft books on self-editing. :)
Blessings,
Susan
That was a fun post!
ReplyDeleteMore! More!
P.S. Wore my blood tangerine top in Nashville!
Congratulations, Caroline!
ReplyDeleteFun, fun, fun contest. Love Jen's blog posts. Thanks for the scissors. Can't wait to use them. :)
