Do you have a favorite childhood memory? Although not my favorite, one that stands out in my illustrious past is the Easy Bake Oven Escapade, and my older brother's machinations to ruin my fun.
Read about it at Army of Ermas today. If you've ever had an older sibling torture you, you'll relate.
If not, you'll laugh. Please laugh.
P.S. After today, I will be mostly offline for the next couple of weeks, enjoying my grandkids' visit with us.
I'll check it out. Ummm, I was the older sibling. :P
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy and have a wonderful visit! :O)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your little tale. Makes me have mixed emotions about being an only child.
ReplyDeleteOh,yes, enjoy your grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny and sweet. As I was reading, I'm remembering your feelings when your brother passed away. It's so important to keep everything in perspective. I'm sure you were very blessed to have an older brother. I had no brothers and I feel that I missed out on something wonderful.
ReplyDeletePlease enjoy your time with the grandchildren.
Hi, Jeanette~
ReplyDeleteI come from a family of 8 children. Being number 7, I have TONS of sibling tales.
I can so relate to the "over-exaggerating" that siblings can do! lol
Praying you have a sweet visit with your grandchildren!
Blessings~
Laura
Have a wonderful visit with your grand kids!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time with your grandkids!!
ReplyDeleteA favorite childhood memory for me is playing with paper dolls with the neighbor girl! We had the best time putting them in dresses and hats.
Thanks
Hope you're having a wonderful time, Miss J! I'm going quiet(er), too, and feeling just fine about it.
ReplyDeleteSee you back soon!
Of course I'll laugh! Heading over. Have fun with the grandkids! :)
