Two days before my birthday, and I'm looking for all the time-saving ideas I can collect. Here is one I discovered by "accident" recently:
Read your snail mail standing up, next to a trash can. You will read faster, and can throw away all the junque mail immediately, instead of letting it clutter up your end table, kitchen counter, or bathroom floor.
Now that you've saved some time, go play with your kids, text a friend, or watch God paint the sky.
Enjoy your life. You are worth it.
Do you receive more mail than you'd like? How do you keep on top of it? How about email?
LOL I do that right next to my recycle bin! It does work rather than having it sit around and pile up. Hope your day is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanette! Happy Birthday a few days early! I hope you have something fun planned to celebrate. We need those celebration times.
ReplyDeleteI can usually keep up with the junk mail I get (which is most of it anyway), it's the emails I can't seem to get thinned down. I have one account in particular that is so bloated, I've pretty much given up on it.
Maybe it I spend more time next to my garbage can with the mail, I'll get enough time to sit down and organize it? I can only hope!
Happy Tuesday :)

We do receive a fair amount of junk mail and I do this very thing. I try to deal with it right away - much easier that way! I also fold clothes right out of the dryer. Not sure what that has to do with your mail tip other than it saves time too. :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Happy Birthday! Hope you have a wonderful day!
I like 'now go play with your kids...and watch God paint the sky!! Have an amazing day Jeanette
ReplyDeleteLove the time saving tip. I tend to not sit down to read the (junk) mail - but stand at the door and walk straight to the paper bin. I try to empty email mailbox once a week - but there I sometimes struggle with, what to save what to dump?
ReplyDeletePhotos are my battle - which to delete which not! My files are full to overflowing on that score.
Have a great birthday - every day a new day! enjoy!
Haha--good one Jeanette. Now that I think about it, I think I already stand, read, and toss.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday!
