Is it okay to ask God "Why?"
But know that often, God has a huge "YES" hiding behind a little "no."
So don't give up yet, because "hope that is seen is not hope (Romans 8)", and . . .
God is a Master at Plans B through Z.
Have you had some answers to prayers that were not what you wanted?
How did God work it out for your good?
When I discovered my uncle was in ICU, I started praying for God to heal him. I almost made deals with God to deliver my only uncle from this illness. But, my uncle died. I was angry. I gave up on praying. I almost gave up on God. I told a co-worker how I felt. She helped me see that God is always in control and He allows what is best to be done over what we want. My uncle could not have tolerated living with the condition that he had.
ReplyDeleteI have so many unanswered prayers, I should be an atheist by now, haha. But God is not who He is, because of my prayers. I am who I am because of who He is. I have learned not to ask 'why'but patiently wait for revelation to come.
