Breast Cancer Awareness Day

My maternal aunt died of breast cancer. Because of this, medical people are very cautious when they see anything out of the ordinary on my yearly mammo...

Last year I had to return for an extra sonogram after a suspicious little dot was found on one side. I knew it could be cancer, but I was expecting nothing. I prayed, asked others to pray, spoke the Word over my body, and God came through--it was fibrous tissue. Thank  you, Jesus!

I applaud doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals, but the wise ones will tell you they are only the instruments--God is the real healer. He designed our bodies and He knows how to fix them. So, if medical science has done all they can for you, but you are still broken, go to Jesus and ask for His touch of love and grace to fill your body and mend you. He is mercy personified.

And if you are healthy, thank God, then go out and help someone who isn't. Pray for them, make them a meal, send them a card or book, sing them a song of love. Be Jesus' heart and hands to their hurts.
