I don't know what book or story this quote comes from, but I heart it. If you know, please tell. I'd like to read the source in its entirety.

My dad used to say "If you come to the end of your life and have one true friend, you are ich."Although I'm not nearing the end of my life, I can say I'm rich, with more than one loyal friend. Many of them are ones I've met blogging, like yourself.

Dear Father, I ask in Jesus' name that you help, heal, and nurture whomever is reading this blog right now. Give them the answers they need for thier life, whether in relationships, career choices, finances, or family matters. Cause them to hear your voice and follow it, and to reject the stranger's voice.

Please pour out your Spirit of grace and abundant favor upon this person, today and every day. Protect them from the evil one and his lies. Keep them strong in spirit, soul, and body. Give them the desires of their hearts as they delight in You, Lord. Teach them how to find their joy in Your embrace.

If they have loved ones who are sick, hurting or far from You, please heal, restore, and bring them to You. Help my friend to trust You with their precious ones, that You love them far more than they imagine, and You tenderly care for them.

Lift their burdens, release them from mental torment, reveal to them Your perfect plan that will lead them in paths of goodness and truth, in Jesus' name, so be it.
