It's Okay to Ask "Why?"; It's Okay to Cry

Sometimes our prayers don't get answered the way we want. It's okay to ask "Why, God?"

And it's also okay to cry.

But know that often, God has a huge "YES" hiding behind a little "no."

So don't give up yet, because "hope that is seen is not hope (Romans 8)", and . . .

God is a Master at Plans B through Z.

  1. Haha, yes! Plans B through Z.... so true.

  2. Truth! Thank you for the reminder, Jen.

  3. Excellent and timely reminder! Thanks, Jen! Jesus is already in our tomorrows. Keep moving forward. :)

  4. Yes, this is a timely one. Thank you for that.

  5. When is my most frequent question lately.

  6. When is my most frequent question lately.

  7. Prayers are changing as I grow in my relationship with God. At times I wanted to give up, but realize He is refining me to teach me who He is, and He is good regardless of unanswered prayer.

  8. Thanks for the encouragement, Jeanette. Persistence can be difficult, but oh so very rewarding.

    Enjoy your 4th!

  9. Hi Jeanette! I think hope definitely splashed on me in this post! Living through the 'no' is never fun, but as you say, there just might be a huge YES coming!!
Hope you have a fun and safe holiday weekend. Any plans to come north??

Oh, it's YOU! I'm so happy to see you here today, and look forward to reading your comments.
